Patient Assessment: It’s more than the numbers

Patient Assessment is about utilising all 5 of our senses and
taking the time to listen to our senses to see the importance of the
information gathered in relation to the patient’s condition.

Gathering the vital signs in that moment is the best way to
provide appropriate action for the patient.

The main senses in relation to patient assessment are watch and
feel.
