This course explores the fundamentals of endoscopy in veterinary practice, with a focus on flexible and rigid endoscopes, how they work, and the procedures they support. It covers common uses such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, and foreign body retrieval, as well as the role of air, water, suction, and accessory channels during a procedure. The course also highlights the veterinary nurse’s role in setup, patient support, assisting with biopsies and sample collection, and handling equipment safely throughout the procedure.
